Petagine Needs Knee Surgery

Discussion in the NPB News forum
Petagine Needs Knee Surgery
There is very disappointing news for Red Sox and NPB baseball fans today. It looks like Roberto Petagine's one year venture back to MLB might be over. He needs to have surgery to repair a partial tear in his left knee and is scheduled to have it in Boston on Tuesday. I truly wanted to see what numbers he can put up in MLB too. [Link - Boston.com]

This is a disappointing story to hear about. I was hoping that Petagine would made the Red Sox roster. Petagine was 2 for 7 (.286), with 2 RBI's so far in spring training. [Link - MLB.com]
