Fighters Sign Two
The Fighters signed two new foreigners: infielder Erick Almonte [Baseball Reference] [Morer Stats - RotoWorld] and former Hawk pitcher Brandon Knight. Almonte batted .269 with 1 HR and 11 RBI in his major league career. Almonte batted .318 with 17 HR and 74 RBI last year for AAA Colorado Springs. [Link - Daily Yomiuri]
