This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

Arakaki threw three consecutive complete game victories in July.
Ogasawara Michihiro (Nippon Ham) .403, 4 home runs, 12 RBIs
Ogasawara batted an impressive .403 for July with 29 hits and an on base percentage of .500. This is Ogasawara's fifth monthly MVP, the third player to recieve the award as many times. The other two are Ichiro (10 times) and Kintetsu's Nakamura (5 times).
