This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

He may be a nice fit for a NPB team, though I don't know where he fits in a crowded SoftBank starting rotation that includes Saitoh, Wada, Suguichi, Arakaki, and Guttormson. Another note to mention is that Valentine was the manager of the Mets when Seo was in the organization. Granted, Seo only appeared in 1 game in 2002 (Bobby Valentine's last year with the Mets), but it could still play a part, in my opinion, in possibly drawing Seo to Chiba Lotte.
Seo went 3-4 with a 8.13 ERA in 11 games/10 starts with the Devil Rays. He went 9-4 with a 3.69 ERA in 17 games/16 starts with AAA Durham.
