This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

I tend to focus on calling the play by play, but will respond to questions or comments during the game. I also respect that some people "tune in" to just "listen," so I refrain from greeting people until they've raised a voice.
In the mean time, let's take a quick look at the 2006 Nippon Series results: Darvish and Kawakami are scheduled to face off against each other for the first game again this evening.
Bonus: During inter-league play, the two also squared off on June 16 with Kawakami getting the win in 6.1 innings, Darvish getting the loss throwing a complete game.
