This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

You must be 17 to 24 years of age, male, and at least 175cm tall. High school and college students need proof of elegibility of graduation by this coming spring, other club members need verification of pending club termination.
The tryout will be held at Hiroshima Shimin Kyujyo starting at 10:00 am, or at 11:00 am at the Ohno Practice Facilities in case of rain.
The article says to go to the Carp home page for more detailed information, but doesn't provide a link. So I will. Your first test is to provide the information asked for on that page.
As with the Giants' tryout, you pay your own expenses. So it's clear that this is really geared toward finding local talent.
