Pro Yakyu Live! May 31, 2007
Once again I was gone on a Wednesday (to Linux World Tokyo this time), so I'll be bringing you Pro Yakyu Live! this evening (Thursday, May 31). Looking at the games we've done so far this year, it appears that Hiroshima, Yakult, and Seibu have yet to be represented. So we'll go with the Hiroshima Toyo Carp hosting the Chiba Lotte Marines at Onomichi. The game will be starting at 6:00 pm JST [World Clock].

The two teams put on quite a pitching duel; Naruse for Lotte and a combination of Takahashi (perhaps the 4th inning excluded), Hasegawa, Hiroike, and Marte for Hiroshima. Kobayashi had a narrow escape in the 9th (as he seems to often do when I watch him).
