Fighters Sign Glynn

Discussion in the NPB News forum
Fighters Sign Glynn
The Nippon Ham Fighters made another good move by signing former Rakuten Eagles starter, Ryan Glynn [Player Profile] to a one year contract [Japan Ball] worth $800,000.

This is a quality signing by the Fighters, and should help them stay competitive in the Pacific League following the loss of Michihiro Ogasawara. So far the signings of Andy Green, Brian Sweeney, and now Glynn have been very postive.

Glynn went 7-7 with a 3.96 ERA in 21 games.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
