Happy New Year to everybody around the world. I wish for a pennent for Chicago Cubs in the Major Leagues. My friend Sammy Sosa and the faithful Cubs' fans deserve this.

Dear Michael,

Happy New Year to you too!

Sounds like you've been living in Japan for a while. You have very good Japanese pronunciation. Just wondering, why are you wearing a "W" cap? You should be wearing a Yokohama BayStars baseball cap.

THANKS
The "W" Hat

Those who have been in Japan as long as I have (let's see, three year in high school, one at Yokohama Kokudai, 11 and a half at my current job, that's 15 and a half years) will recall that before Yokohama changed their name to the BayStars they were the Yokohama Taiyo Whales.

That cap is older than my children.

Well, back to the grindstone.
