This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

After giving up 3 runs in the first inning of opening day against the Lions, Kuroki hasn't surrendered another run in the following 28 and 2/3rds innings, making his ERA a league leading 0.91. Lotte's Ono (1.55) and Katoh (2.08) are currently ranked 3rd and 4th in the Pacific League, being a major factor behind Lotte's league leading 3.18 combined ERA.
Get well soon, Johnny!
