This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

If the Friday night game is rained out, I'll go with the same matchup on Sunday afternoon at 1:00pm JST.
Information on tuning in live or downloading games from the archives is available here.
I'm going to be trying something new this next broadcast, and I don't yet know if it'll work or not. During the game you can "phone in" to "proyakyulive" (without the quotes) via Skype and contribute questions and/or commentary. If this works out well, I was thinking of recruiting someone to act as color commentator while watching the game at his/her home here in Japan at the same time. If such commentary were to bring the broadcasts more life, perhaps some enterprising person could convince J-Sports to create DVDs of games with these broadcasts on an English subchannel (in regard to this request).
By the way, I really didn't plan the first inter-league game to be between my favorite two teams. I don't get GAORA or J-Sports3 which has the Tigers at Sapporo and Orix hosting the Dragons respectively, and the Carp hosting the Lions on Friday is tape delayed starting at midnight. Really, no conspiracy here.
