Bobby V. Next Tampa Bay Manager?

Discussion in the Rumor Mill forum
Bobby V. Next Tampa Bay Manager?
Will Bobby V. become the next Tampa Bay manager? The setting is just right for him. Nowhere to go but up with the Devilrays. The mix of players they have fits right into his game concept. He could be successful within a couple of years, just like with the Marines.

He should stay far away from Tampa Bay. I don't think there's any to save that organization.

Today I got in my car and turned the radio on to my favorite New York sports station and an AP writer (didn't get his name) was talking about how last Saturday, before the Japan Series began, that he interviewed Bobby V. and that Bobby stated, no matter what happened in the Series, he was content on staying in Japan. He has one year to go. So even with an out in his contract, it looks like the Bobby V. question for Tampa Bay is a dead issue.

I don't understand how this AP writer never released this before. The radio hosts were also surprised by this interview.
