Elephants Sign Ps Steve Kent and Danny Core
The Brother Elephants have signed pitchers Steve Kent and Danny Core. Kent, 30, last pitched in 2006 where he split the season with the Corpus Christi Hooks of the Double-A Texas League and the Round Rock Express of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League.

27 year old right hander Core was 2-1 with a 6.91 ERA in 22 games in 2007 for the Dunedin Blue Jays of the Single-A Florida State League. He had pitched earlier in the season in the independent Northern League.

The Elephants also resigned closer Todd Moser. He was 5-1 last season with a 2.41 ERA and a league leading 13 saves in 33 games.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
