Bulls Sign P Jose Espinal and Resign P Tomokazu Iba
The Sinon Bulls have signed P Jose Espinal. The 32 year old right hander was 3-2 with a 4.44 ERA in 5 games in 2007 for the Long Island Ducks of the independent Atlantic League. Espinal pitched in the CPBL in 2005 with the President Lions, going 3-3 with a 3.09 ERA in 8 games.

The Bulls resigned P Tomokazu Iba (9-9, 1 save, 2.67 ERA in 24 games last season). The club also signed another Japanese pitcher - Fumio Katayama. However, he's actually from Brazil. The 24 year old righty was last registered with the Yakult Swallows from 2003-2005.
