New Foreign Additions To CPBL
Denny Harriger has decided to play baseball again. The 35 year old right hander has signed with the China Trust Whales of the Chinese Professional Baseball League. Harriger, who will start and wear No. 24, last played in 1998 where he appeared in four Major League games and had a 6.75 ERA with the Detroit Tigers.

Meanwhile, third baseball Lipso Nava has been plucked from Mexico by the Makoto Cobras. The right-handed hitting Nava hit .246 with no home runs and six RBIs in 2003 with Zulia Aguilas.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
