This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Kevin Millar:
60 G, 217 AB, 34 R, 17 2B, 11 HR, 47 RBI, .300 BA, .368 OBP, .530 SLG
Hideki Matsui:
71 G, 293 AB, 36 R, 23 2B, 6 HR, 46 RBI, .283 BA, .335 OBP, .423 SLG
Though it's not even the midway point of the 2003 season, I have a feeling Millar would have been a huge impact hitter in Japan. Such MLB castoffs as Roberto Petagine, Tuffy Rhodes, Bobby Rose, and Alex Cabrera could never stick as everyday players in North America, but were among the best in Japan. Millar has been a productive MLB player for a few years now, who knows what he could have accomplished.
