As a foreign ballplayer in Korea from 2005-2007, I had the honor of playing with Min-tae and he was truly an absolute professional and ambassador for Korean baseball. As in any culture, there is an adjustment to be made on and off the field for any foreign player. Min-tae welcomed me as his teammate from the first day, and helped me throughout my 3 year tenure in Korea.

I wish him well in his future endeavors - and hope the KBO clelebrates his career in some shape or form. I know he will do well if he chooses to step back into the game from a coach's point of view!

My best to you Min-tae!
