Iced Cabbage Outlawed in Korean Baseball
Pitcher Park Myung-hwan of the Doosan Bears of the Korean Baseball Organization has been ordered by the KBO Rules Committe to cease wearing iced cabbage leaves under his baseball cap. Cabbage leaves twice fell out of Parks' cap in last Sunday's game in Seoul against the Hanwha Eagles. Park (9-0, 2.26 ERA, 90 SO) has been cooling his body with iced cabbage since 2004.
