Korean HS Flamethrower to Play in Domestic League
Korean high schooler Han Ki-joo throws hard, 95 mph and is only 18 years old. Makes you wonder why he didn't try his luck overseas. [Link - Korea Times]

This might not be baseball related, but he looks like William Hung of baseball. The guy just got 1 billion won. I don't know how much that is in dollars, but it at least put a smile on the face.

Every Korean young man around 20 has to fulfill the duty of military service for 2 years. A decent way to be exempted from this for baseball players is winning medals at Olympics or Asian Games. If that guy, Han, knocks ML at this point of time, he'll have less chances than remaining in Korea.
