高田繁新監督（６２）率いる新生ヤクルトが、ハツラツプレーで２連勝だ。１４日、沖縄・浦添で行われた横浜との練習試合は、１３安打に積極走塁も絡めて５－１で快勝。前回１１日の阪神戦（６－３）に続き、機動力を含めたスピーディーな野球が選手にも浸透してきている。昨季は２１年ぶりの最下位に終わったが、アグレッシブに取り組む意識付けから、変革の時を迎える。
