３年目のブラウン広島が期待感たっぷりに初陣を飾った。沖縄キャンプ最終日の１２日、横浜と今年初の対外試合を行い、１４安打９得点で快勝した。長打力で注目を浴びた５番の新人松山竜平外野手（２２＝九州国際大）が中越え２点二塁打を放ち、パワーを証明した。
