楽天・一場は先発６回１／３を１失点にまとめて３勝目。１６日のオリックス戦から３連勝となった。七回に四球絡みでピンチを招いたが、２番手・有銘の好投に助けられ「救援に感謝です」と謙虚にコメントした。不調と右ひじ炎症などで前半戦は戦力にならなかったが、ここへ来てようやく先発の一角として貢献できるようになった。投手陣の柱として期待のかかる背番号１１は「迷惑を掛けたので、投げる試合は全部勝つつもりでいきたい」と意気込んだ。
