得意のタカ狩りで球団記録達成だ。楽天は１８日、ソフトバンクに５－２と逆転勝ち。今季１０７試合目で早くも球団新記録となるシーズン最多４８勝目を飾った。１回表に先制されたが、その裏、山崎武の同点打など打線が奮起し、あっさり逆転で逃げ切った。１年目３８勝、２年目４７勝から、今季は６４勝ペース。野村楽天は３年目で大躍進を遂げた。
