わずか１安打に、お仕置きでもしたかった。０５年から５連敗を喫した全パの日本ハム・ヒルマン監督は「ヒットが出なければ勝てないね。仙台に着いたら室内練習場に直行して全員打撃練習をしてもらう」。試合後は取材に応じず、広報を通じて出したコメントは、冗談に聞こえないほどの嘆き節。チームは２０日夜に仙台に移動したが、深夜の打撃練習でも課したい気分だった。
