おとこ気あふれる投球で黒田が通算１００勝を達成した。広島の黒田博樹投手（３２）が巨人戦に先発し、強力打線を６安打に抑えて８－２で完投勝ちした。９回には先頭古城の強烈なピッチャー返しの打球を右足で止めるなど気迫を前面に出し、現役では５人目の巨人戦２０勝を飾った。通算１００勝は広島では１０人目になる。
