巨人高橋由が、右足首痛の影響で２試合続けてスタメンを外れた。この日、試合前練習でグラウンドに姿を見せたが、打撃、守備とも行わず試合前に帰宅した。篠塚打撃コーチは「本人が（試合出場は困難と）申し出てきたので」。１４日の時点で、出場選手登録は抹消されていない。
