ロッテ藤田が試合前の練習中、前日２７日に死球を与えた阪神金本へ謝罪した。自ら歩み寄ると、恐縮しながら４度、５度と繰り返し頭を下げて、金本からの言葉に耳を傾けた。練習を終え、報道陣に囲まれると「まあまあ、普通に」と多くを語らずにベンチ裏へと引き揚げた。
