ソフトバンク小久保が今季４度目の２試合連続弾を見舞った。３点リードの６回。先頭で打席に入ると、オリックス先発川越から左中間席へ豪快な１発。１４号ソロで川越をマウンドから引きずり降ろした。「２戦連発？ 目先の数字にはこだわってない。毎日のリズムの中で、打席に立つ準備をしっかり整えられていることが、いい結果に出ている」。チームはこの日、守備でプロタイ記録となる６併殺を記録。そのうち２度、併殺にかかわり「今日は相手の攻撃に助けられた。勝ってかぶとの緒をしめろだよ」と話した。
