ソフトバンク先発杉内が西武涌井に並ぶハーラートップの６勝目を挙げた。プロ入り以来、１４戦無敗と相性のいいオリックスを相手に、今季２度目の無四球完投（１度目は完封）。８安打を許しながらも、粘りの投球で最少失点に抑え、オリックス戦６連勝を飾った。「完投で無四球は意味がある。次は球数を減らさないとね」。１４２球の熱投を反省した。
