広島大須賀が移籍後初のタイムリーを放った。１－４の５回１死一、三塁から右前へ運んだ。３回の第２打席では移籍後初安打も記録していた。昨年、巨人を戦力外になり広島にテスト入団した苦労人。初先発での好結果に「前の打者がいい形を作ってくれたので自分も乗っていけました。何とか右方向へと思っていた」と満足そうだった。
