阪神の希望枠ルーキー小嶋達也投手（２１）がプロ初先発で初勝利を飾った。制球に苦しみながらも、要所で右打者の内角を突く強気の投球で５回２失点。「序盤は多少の緊張もあり、思うように行かないボールもありましたが、先にチームが点を取ってくれて楽になりました。次はもっといい投球ができるように頑張りたい」と笑顔だった。
