This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. 希望枠の大垣日大（岐阜）が初陣を飾った。１回、敵失に乗じて先制。その後も着実に加点し、逃げ切った。就任から２年で同校を甲子園に導いた阪口慶三監督（６２）は「ボールの見極めができたことが勝因。（東邦監督時代に）優勝した時よりも気持ちが高ぶっている」と興奮覚めやらぬ様子だった。
