中日川上憲伸投手（３１）はオープン戦ラスト登板で好投し、シーズンへの準備ＯＫをアピールした。先発し、５回を投げ４安打無失点。直球は１４０キロ前後とスピードに物足りなさは残ったが、変化球もコーナーに決めて横浜打線を寄せ付けなかった。「いい結果が出てよかったです。ただ、内容は満足できないところもありました」。オープン戦４試合で２勝、防御率０・５６とほぼ完ぺきな結果を残したエースは淡々と話していた。
