Softbank signs former K.C. pitcher
The Softbank Hawks on Sunday announced the acquisition of right-hander Jason Standridge, who has a 3-9 career record with a 5.80 ERA in the major leagues. Standridge has agreed to a 30 million yen salary deal and is expected to serve as a middle reliever. He was 0-1 with an 8.22 ERA in four relief appearances for the Kansas City Royals this season.
