I can't see how they would fire Collins this early into the season. Plus, like I said earlier in this thread, Orix was going to be terrible. They have a ton of work to do before they are contenders. To expect them to contend this year is absurd. Right now they're where I predicted, dead last, at 11-22-2. Yes, even 2 games behind the Rakuten Eagles.

I agree with you. The way I see it is these players never come through in the clutch. Even the good players. Shiozaki can't field a routine grounder with two outs. Carter gives up a two run shot in the ninth to Cabrera and with the bases loaded, and in the ninth Larocca and Rhodes strikeout then Shimoyama grounds out.

What's up with signing Allen, then letting him sit in the minors? I would send down Serafini or Carter. As long as they have a starting lineup with Shiozaki, Mizuguchi, Gotoh, Shimoyama, etc. they will alway finish last.

I read that the owner told Collins he has to make the playoffs. Good luck, Terry.
