Ticketing Attendance

Funny thing, your asking about 2006 attendance. I just presented a report to the Tokyo SABR Chapter about NPB's 2006 attendance, looking at it from both the home and away points of view, broken down by team and stadium, as well as the most popular and least popular match ups. My data, as mentioned in the previous article, was based off of the TBS Radio site's box scores. I filtered out the playoffs and Nippon Series for the above presentation, which I didn't do in the previous article.

Here is the English translated first table in the report, with Hanshin, Chunichi, and Nippon Ham updated to reflect the official numbers (as sited in the "2007 Baseball Record Book" by Baseball Magazine Sha, pages 111 and 316):

Also of note, I believe that I truncated the averages in the report, whereas the official averages above have been rounded up as in the Record Book.

I'm afraid that I don't have the time to track down exactly which game(s) had the wrong official attendance at TBS. (I also just noticed that I was missing one Chunichi game in the report.) Will these figures be enough?
