This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Wih Ichiro on first and Nakajima batting, who has been good in this tournament, I can't help but think that that was strategic mismanagement by Hara. While I usually tend to agree that sacrifice bunts are a good strategic move, with 1 out and Ichiro, who is fast, as the base runner, and Nakajima, who also is fast and has been good, this was, in my view, a waste.
While I have to applaud Korea because they played well and had fantastic pitching, I also share part of the blame on Hara for his strategy in the 8th inning.
