Game Report: Baystars vs. Swallows @ Meiji Jingu -- Beach Blanket Bancho
[Moved from Pro Yakyu News forum.]

The Baystars extended my personal record with them to 4-1 as they smashed the Yakult Swallows 10-5, in a nice cool evening game on Monday night at Meiji Jingu, featuring the return of Daisuke "Hama no Bancho" Miura to the mound.

Yes, it was a real pleasure to meet Deanna at the game on Marine Day. Just wish I could've chatted with her for a little while longer.

And once again Deanna, my sincere apologies for dissing Bobby V. back in March. I didn't know you were a huge Bobby V. fan. I've done some homework on him since then and I've found a new respect for him. So Bobby's cool in my book. Hope to see you at Yokohama Stadium in September. I'll be in touch.

And hopefully, Miura will return to his old self in his next start. I hope he'll be on the mound when I go to Hamamatsu to see the Dragons and BayStars next Monday.
