Tadahito Iguchi
Now that Tadahito Iguchi has been given the right(s) to negotiate with MLB, and for that matter any professional teams, the basic question is: Which team is most likely to garner his services?

The teams in most need of a second baseman will probably go after Iguchi. Like the Cubs and Red Sox.

I've been watching the proceedings with the Red Sox and it appears that the locals have won out over actually improving the team. If Epstein had had any guts he would have traded for Kazuo, signed Tadahito, and ended up having an air-tight infield, lowered the pitching staff's ERAs, and scored even more runs with the NPB tandem in the middle of the field on a daily basis.

Esptein and the Red Sox play a number game, and that's why they think Bellhorn is so valuable. Though in my opinion Bellhorn isn't as useful as they say he is and I will continue to stand by this opinion.
As for Kazuo Matsui going to Boston, they had Nomar Garciaparra when he was a free agent last season and just signed free agent Edgar Renteria to a 4 year contract leaving no room for Matsui in both opportunities.

His best option would be the Chicago White Sox. He would be joing a team with deep pitching and would be living in a city rich with his culture.
