I heard Eric Young is trying out for the Orix Buffaloes. Anyone heard about it?

Do you mean Eric Junge (pronounced Young) the pitcher, or Eric Young the ESPN analyst? If it is true, it must be the former, but it seems they don't need anyone else.

Sorry, my bad. That's the problem with Katagana. It has to be Junge, the age fits. Is Eric Junge any good?

He is a big righty, decent arm, was playing in the Atlantic League (Independent) in 2007, I believe.

He isn't what I call anything special. Junge [Baseball-Reference] has what I call average numbers, he might be able to be a serviceable starter, but I doubt it. There are definitely way more six year minor league free agents better than this guy.

I bought a baseball magazine today which listed Eric Young on the Buffaloes, but I never heard if he had been signed.
