Inter-league "Finals"
OK, 3 games left. I believe that the 3rd place team, Softbank, is out of contention. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but whichever of the two teams, Lotte and Yakult, win 2 of this last series, that team takes it. Also, one win for Lotte and one for Yakult, and a tie, Lotte wins it. Is this correct?

Well, the Swallows actually have two rained out games to play. I'm not sure whether you're taking those into account. I'm not sure what the standings look like, but the Swallows will have to make up a game against Rakuten - add a win right there - and one more against the Fighters. Regardless, these "finals" should make for a great series.

As a Swallows fan, I would like to see the Swallows take at least 2 of 3 in this series, as that would give them a .500 or better record against each PL team for the 2006 koryusen.

I'll be at the weekend games, barring rainouts. Looking forward to some great outdoor baseball.
