"World" Series
If anyone is interested, baseballprospectus.com recently ran a series of articles detailing a diamondmind baseball computer simulation of a series between the Chiba Lotte Marines and the Chicago White Sox. Good stuff. Michael Westbay and Sergei Borisov, both of whom I have seen mentioned on this site, contributed to the article.

Yes, it was mentioned here. Got off to an exciting start, but three straight losses at Chiba Marine Stadium kind of let us down.
I do hope that one can be played on the field in the near future.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
