Who's Replacing Johjima and Batista?

Discussion in the Open Talk forum
Who's Replacing Johjima and Batista?
Since both Johjima and Batista are no longer Hawks, who's the new catcher and thrid baseman?

I heard Matoba is the new catcher, and Ryo is suppose to play third. Are there any other candidates? Because those two can't hit.

Right now those are the two candidates replacing Johjima and Batista unless Softbank brings someone else in, which I doubt.

Softbank has said they want to go in a younger direction at third base, so Yoshimoto will play third. As for catcher, Matoba will replace Johjima, as the Hawks have no other option except to bring back Masanori Taguchi as a free agent, as the free agent market has no catchers after Yano re-signed with Hanshin as expected and Tanishige re-signed with Chunichi, also as expected.

Man, the Hawks really lost a lot of power.
