Who Will be the Next Generation BayStars Shortstop or Second Baseman?

Who Will be the Next Generation BayStars Shortstop or Second Baseman?
I found in this year Yokohama mostly use Taneda, Ishii, and Manei to play shortstop and second base. Last year, Uchikawa played second, but this year he become an outfielder. In the Yokohama infielder, Murata and Aikawa are younger players!

Fujita is set to take the spot from Ishii. He's a contact batter who's done pretty well on the farm. Uchikawa will also probably be moved back to second and then Furuki or Kohno will be in the outfield.

So is it Murata will play at second base? Because he played there before, and next season is it Ishii that will still play with BayStars?

I think Murata will remain a corner infielder. He has gradually improved at the plate (even if anybody who throws this guy a heater ought to be fined), but still has some ways to go.

Injuries have held Uchikawa back. It will be interesting to see just how much longer they will go with him before they opt for somebody else.

Taneda is getting on in years and the best move for Yokohama management would be to focus on developing younger players. They could try to move Taneda, while he still has at least a modicum of trade value, for a bullpen arm.

So is it Fujita will play the main shortstop in the coming few years? Because I notice that Fujita never play any game for the BayStars. So the problem is about who will be the next first batter and who can be play good at shortstop for the team.

I nominate Kazuo Matsui.
