Youngest Player to Debut in NPB
19 year old Felix Hernandez became one of the youngest player to debut in the Major Leagues when he pitched recently for the Seattle Mariners. Who's the youngest player ever to debut at ichi-gun in the NPB? Chen Wei-yin of the Chunichi Dragons is 20, but I doubt he's the youngest.

Top draft picks in NPB regularly make the top team's opening day roster straight out of high school. So it's gotta be one of those players - until Tsujimoto makes his debut with the Tigers ichi-gun sometime in the next year or two.

Yu Darvish is the youngest player this year at 18 years old if I'm not mistaken.

Tsuijmoto of the Hanshin Tigers was the youngest draft pick at 15 years old.
