This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

And Okisho starts it off early. Ishimine gets a one-out single up the middle. Then Nishime comes to the plate and hits one deep to left center! And it’s gone in a big way!
The two runs would be more than enough for Higashihama, who’s stellar from start to finish. He definitely doesn’t overpower the batters, but instead induces a lot of ground balls. In fact, only 6 of the 27 outs were flyouts. You never really got the sense that Meitoku would get anything started against Higashihama. All you need to see is his line:
W, CG, 1ER, 7H, 4K, 2BB
While his counterpart Nouno settled down after the first inning, the damage had been done. His performance in the game was great, but Higashihama’s was better.
