Day 4 – Game 2 – Utsunomiya Minami Koukou vs. Yazu Koukou
Game 2 was between Utsunomiya Minami from Tochigi, who was making only its second visit in 22 years, and newcomer Yazu Koukou from Shimane.

And the game went about as fast as the Shinkansen. Yazu's ace Hiragi faced only 2 more than the minimum and Utsunomiya Minami's ace Yamai faced only 3 more.

In the end, it was Yazu who was able to string something together in the 5th inning with a timely 2 out hit to score 3B Yamazumi who had led off the inning with a walk. And that was enough for Yazu to win 1-0.

That's pretty much it. Really.
