Day 4 – Game 1 – Ichinoseki Gakuin vs. Toyodai Himeji Koukou
Moving over to the 3rd bracket has hometown Toyodai Himeji vs. Ichinoseki Gakiun of Iwate. Needless to say that Toyodai was probably the favored team in the matchup, and they played every bit of the part. They would jump out in front 3-0 early with some timely hits.

On the other side, Toyodai's ace Satou dominated Ichinoseki's hitters, yielding only 3 hits including a surprising HR down the RF line in the 6th inning en route to a 4-1 victory.
