This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

And in the 4th inning of the second round match against Chiben Gakuin, he ran a fastball high and in, which was clocked at 155km/h.
With a great Koshien tournament already in his belt during the 2006 summer, where he led his team deep into the tournament, he's improved even more. With a fastball that constantly reaches the mid-150s, coupled with a sharp slider, he really has a chance to lead his team all the way this year.
Anyone watching this year's Koshien after the most touted Nakata Sho and his Osaka Toin got dethroned in the Osaka Tournament?
As with last year, this year's Koshien tournament can be found on Asahi, which has full stream of every inning being played.
