This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Yes, that's right. Komadai is upset by Hiroshima-ken's Koryou Koukou.
With Koryou having tied the game at 3 in the top of the 9th and runners at first and second, 2B Hayashi-kun grounds the ball up the middle. But 2B Kojika-kun can't get a hold of it. When he does, lead runner Habu-kun is caught between third and home. But when C Kosaka-kun throws to third, it goes wide and to the left into foul territory in left field. By the time LF Satoh gets the ball in, Habu and Yamashita-kun score, giving Koryo the 5-3 lead in the top of the 9th.
Komadai would rally for a run, but it proved to be too much. And a team, probably considered one of the favorites, has made an early exit.
More on this game when I'm more coherent.
